Below is a list of command-line applications (also known as console applications) that are tested to work with Decompression Chamber (DC). DC does not work with any of the graphical user interface (GUI) versions of these utilities, however, the GUI version often has to be installed in order to access the command-line application. Applications other than those listed below, and versions other than those tested, may not work with DC.
Tested utilities:
RAR:
RARSOFTs RAR.EXE (versions 2.70, 2.80, and 2.90 beta 2)
ACE:
ACE Compression Software's ACE32.EXE (version 2.0)
ZIP:
WinZIP's WZZIP.EXE v1.0 (build 3181)
PKZIP's PKZIPC.EXE v4.00 [Limited Compatibility]
