Orange to Sydney in a BAe 146-200LivewireExpress flight 1882 is a pleasant 45 minute flight that starts off at Orange Airport in Orange, Australia and finishes at Kingsford Smith International in Sydney, Australia. Today's journal will contain 12 images. Orange is a small, uncontrolled airport in the heart of some absolutely beautiful wilderness. After announcing our taxi and takeoff, we took to the sky from runway 11. Again, the local countryside is stunning as we climb to our cruise altitude of 17,000 ft. Not long after reaching 17,000, ATC vectors us onto approach. As we neared the outskirts of Sydney, the numerous rivers only added to the view. Over the Sydney suburbs, we ran into a few dark clouds, which were fortunately all bark and no bite. On final into Kingsford-Smith, the famous Sydney skyline appears on our left. On short final, impressive YSSY spans the view ahead. I was happy to see I was holding Qantas up a bit. The first of many LivewireExpress 747s currently parked at YSSY can be seen to the right. After an uneventful landing, I began my taxi. On a number of occasions I spotted this Boeing 747-400 from our home division. Here we are waiting on a landing Lauda 767 before we cross the active runway I landed on minutes before. A few more LivewireExpress aircraft are parked in the distant background. And, finally, just before we got to our gate, we spot one final friend, a LivewireExpress 737-400. This flight generated $2,082.65 total revenue. I hope you all enjoyed!
