LivewireExpress flight 2895 is a very pleasant flight that originates and finishes at Faaa International in Tahiti. While the flight now has a more specific objective, when I flew this flight it was freeform. So I decided to fly a circuit of the island followed by a short water landing to let my passengers take a swim. The weather was a bit overcast at the start, with a cloud layer just above 1200 ft. AGL, but it did little to spoil the beauty of this flight.

This is just after engine start, we get clearance to taxi to runway 4.
Just after takeoff, looking back at the main terminal.
This gives a fine view of all the hotels and clubs near the airport.
I stayed just below the cloud layer for most of the flight.
We flew over some wonderful shallow ocean scenery.
To our right you can see the narrow strip of land connecting the two main landmasses.
Despite being busy flying, I had plenty of time to enjoy the sights.
The layer of overcast was everpresent, but the sun kept shining through, fortunately.
Another fine shot of the shallows.
We climbed above the overcast for a short time to get a view of the clouds.
Nearing the end of our circuit, I descended closer to the ground.
We've completed our circuit and are heading to the bay near the airport to land for a short swim.
The water landing was uneventful but the passengers enjoyed the experience.
This panaramic shot shows off nearly the entire island.
A short time later we are back in the air. ATC gave us clearance to approach runway 4. The clouds are rolling in heavier now.
The landing was easy and uneventful.
Just after getting clearance from ground control, the rain started. I was pleased it had held off until the flight was complete.
This shows the flight as performed and the WX radar image just after I parked.
I hope you all enjoyed.
